The
lively town of Brighton can be found to
the far west of the East Sussex County,
on the south coast of England. It has close
access to the A27 and with a large train
station, has regular transportation to other
surrounding towns such as Lewes
and even goes as far as Gatwick airport.
Combined with its nearest neighbouring town,
Hove, the city of
Brighton and Hove was formed in 2000. Brighton
made a name for itself as a health resort
during the 18th Century and is now a large
thriving town with numerous tourist attractions
including its shingle beach, The Royal Pavilion,
Brighton Pier and of course it’s nightlife.
Brighton is now well known for its lesbian,
gay, bisexual and transgender community
and is host to the Gay Pride festival every
August.
