Hawkhurst benefits from many local attractions including Merriments Gardens to the south and Pashley Manor Gardens a little further west. Bewl Water is also west of Hawkhurst and has a convenient Visitor Centre, closer to Hawkhurst itself is the golf course and the neighbouring villages of The Moor, Four Throws, Highgate, Gun Green, Gill’s Green, High Street, Flimwell, and Union Street.
