Carterton is located in South-West Oxfordshire, near to Witney and Lechlade-on-Thames. Carterton is also the location of the Brize Norton Royal Air Force base (to the east of the town of Carterton).

Due to its proximity to an airfield - and a large one at that - hot air balloons are subject to restrictions in this immediate area. We've included Carterton anyway, for completeness.
