Bramber is a delightful little village close to the West Sussex coast. It is located a few miles north of Lancing, and within short distances of Steyning (to the west) and Upper Beeding (to the east). There are many interesting attractions in and around the Bramber area. The most distinctive landmark in Bramber itself is undoubtedly the (ruined) remains of Bramber Castle – built in 1075 and destroyed during the English Civil War.
