Hill is a town in West Sussex located a
few miles south of Haywards
Hill and north of the South Downs at
Clayton and Pyecombe. Burgess Hill is situated
on the A273 which diverts around the centre
of the town. Burgess Hill is also on the
railway line from Crawley
to the south coast at Brighton
(and Hove).
Burgess Hill benefits from a local Country
Park and information centre and from numerous
other attractions in the vicinity –
including Plumpton Racecourse, Hickstead
(Showjumping Venue) Pyecombe Windwill and
all of the attractions around the South
Downs and nearby south coast.
