is a West Sussex village situated just east
of the A23 main road from Crawley
to the coast at Brighton.
It is just a few miles east of Henfield,
and south-west of Burgess
Hill, on the East Sussex border. This
is a scenic area just north of the South
Downs and the south coast at Brighton and
Hove.
Hurstpierpoint benefits from a golf course,
and close proximity to the equestrian events
venue at nearby Hickstead. Other attractions
in this area include Devil’s Dyke
(National Trust property) and Woods Mill
local nature reserve.
Hurstpierpoint is surrounded by several
smaller villages including Hurst Wickham,
Hassocks, Clayton,
Newtimber, Albourne, Blackstone, Albourne
Green, High Cross, Sayers Common, Twineham
and Hickstead.
