Lancing is a seaside town located immediately east of its larger neighbour Worthing, a mile or so along the A259. A notable feature of Lancing is the spectacular architecture of Lancing College Chapel (just north of the A27, main road around the south coast of West Sussex).
Also in the immediate vicinity of Lancing are Broadwater, Sompting, Upper Cokeham, Coobes and Old Shoreham.
