Bebington,
Merseyside
Merseyside
is a densely populated coastal county, lots
of people, spirit, humour, lots to see -
from land and air.
Bebington
is "across the water", as they
say in Liverpool. That is, Bebington is
located on the Wirral peninsular between
the River Mersey (to the north) and the
River Dee (to the south). Birkenhead is
immediately across the Mersey from Liverpool.
Bebington is the urban area that extends
south of Birkenhead itself and includes
many residential districts (such as Tranmere,
Prenton, Storeton, Thingwall, Branston,
Brimstage, and Thornton Hough) and also
some visitor attractions such as Port Sunlight
Hertitage Centre and the Lady Lever Art
Gallery. This is, roughly, the north-east
part of the Wirral, whereas Hoylake, West
Kirby, Heswall and Neston lie along it's
west coast. There are several Country Parks
on the Wirral, including Arrowe Park, Wirral
Park, Eastham Park and Ness Gardens.
